Now Calling for Grand Guignol 4 Scripts

We are seeking original 1 Act plays 12-20 pages in length in Grand Guignol style (horrors, psychological thrillers, sex farces, etc). For more information on what Grand Guignol is, check out http://www.grandguignol.com/history.htm. It explains the style quite well.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Friday, September 23rd, 2011
Please send your scripts and questions to cosette@thirdeyetheatre.org, subject line: Grand Guignol 4 submission. Also, in the email please include your name and mailing address. If your script is chosen, you will be asked to sign a release/performance agreement prior to auditions.

Special Note for this year's submission: World Premiere's only! Please only send us work that has not been performed or that has been changed since its last performance, so that it may be considered a world premiere. Also, if the latter is the case, please plainly tell us so in your email.

New Playwright Program

We here at Third Eye are always looking for new work to be produced. Whether you are new to us, or new to playwriting in general, we would love to work with you (through a year-long workshop) in order to help move your vision to a full-fledged production! Please contact our Artistic Director, Alacias Enger
If you haven't seen any of our plays, it would be a good idea to see at least one - our most popular offering is our annual Grand Guignol, but feel free to see any one of our performances!

General Call for Scripts

Currently, we are focused on:

• full-length comedies (90 pages max./2-hr run time)
• horror/sex-farce in the Grand Guignol style (15 pages or less/10 - 15-min run time)

However, any script that grabs our attention, we would consider working with the playwright.
